Pork tenderloin braid step-by-step recipe:
Ingredients:
1 pork tenderloin (700 grams)
200 grams of bacon
40 grams of butter
1 tablespoon of ketchup
1 tablespoon of soy sauce
2 garlic gloves
Rosemary - 2 pcs
½ teaspoon of smoked paprika
Frying oil
Salt and pepper
Step 1
Divide the pork loin lengthwise into 6 strips. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and dried garlic - rub the spices into the meat with your hands.
Step 2
Take three strips of tenderloin.
Place a slice of bacon on top of each strip. The bacon strip should be approximately the same width as the loin strip.
Step 3
Use cooking twine to tie the tenderloin at one edge.
Twist the strips into a "braid". Lay the strips so that the bacon is on top.
Use cooking twine to tie the resulting braid at the other end as well. Form a second "braid" - do the same with the remaining strips of sirloin.
Step 4
Heat the frying oil in a frying pan. Melt 40 grams of butter. Crush two cloves of garlic with a knife and add to the butter. Add a couple of sprigs of rosemary for flavour.
Place the "braids" in a well heated frying pan. Fry on both sides over a medium heat until golden brown.
Step 5. Sauce
Mix a tablespoon of ketchup with a tablespoon of soya sauce. Add half a teaspoon of smoked paprika and mix thoroughly.
Preheat the oven to 180 C.
Step 6.
Place the "braids" from the pan into a baking dish. Using a cooking brush, brush each "braid" with the sauce. Put in the oven for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, place the dish on a plate.
