Chicken drumsticks in beer step-by-step recipe:


Ingredients:

  • 8 drumsticks (1kg)

  • 30 grams of butter

  • Couple of sprigs of rosemary

  • 2 onions

  • 5 garlic cloves

  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes

  • ½ teaspoon thyme

  • Frying oil

  • Salt and pepper

 


Step 1

Take 8 chicken legs, make 2-4 incisions 5 mm deep on each of them. Sprinkle each one with salt and pepper and rub a little of the spices into the legs.

In a frying pan, melt 30g of butter and pour in some frying oil. Add a couple of sprigs of rosemary for flavour.

Place the legs and fry until golden over a medium heat.

Step 2

While the legs are frying, slice 2 red onion bulbs into half rings, also slice 5 heads of garlic.

When the legs are golden, place them on a plate. We will use the oil left after frying the legs to fry the sliced onions and garlic. Saute the onion first, then add the garlic and fry the mixture over medium heat.

Step 3

Dice 2 medium sized tomatoes and add to the pan with the onion and garlic mixture. Season with half a teaspoon of dried thyme and mix thoroughly.


Step 4

Take 300 ml of any broth and pour it into the pan. Next place the chicken legs back in. Add 500ml of any dark beer.

Cook under the lid for 40 minutes.
